Please take a few moments to leave a review on Amazon, GoodReads, and twitter. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or long and you can copy and paste. For independent authors like myself, it can mean the difference between a successful book and complete failure. If a book has lots of reviews, Amazon will show it alongside other more successful books, if it doesn’t, it gets shuffled to the bottom of the pack. With over one million books on Amazon, it’s really hard to stand out. There are many advertising sites that won’t even allow me to post my books unless they have twenty-five or more reviews.
So please, do me and every other author a favor and post a review — just think of it as posting a status update about your favorite book. Perhaps it will be less intimidating that way. 🙂 Thank you in advance for all of your help.
