I will never forget sitting in the back of my English class in junior high school watching To Kill a Mockingbird. I had tears streaming down my face. I must have read that book three or four times during that unit. It gave me the courage to believe in myself and my ability to change the world. It shaped my decision to become a Civil Rights Attorney.
